At least once a month, I will post a new catechist encouragement. This can be looked at as a prayer. Take some time to read these encouragements and spend some time in prayer for you and for your class.
It's now almost the end of our first semester. How are things going for you in your classroom. It's always good to review your classes. Did your lesson go smoothly? Did you have too much or not enough content? How is the atmosphere in your classroom? Do you need to re-seat a few of your students so there are less distractions? Do you still go by the rules that you set up as a class? It is always a good idea to review the rules for your room to remind the students what is expected.
My prayer for you is that you feel confident in what you are teaching and that the content flows into a lesson that the students will take home and live out in their daily routines. Always know that I am here to help you. If there is something that you would like help with, let me know.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
I'm sharing a link to an article on a website called The Catechist Journey. It shares veteran catechists tips for sharing our faith to the children/youth in our parishes. Click on the link below.
